Succulents as Wedding Flowers

Succulents give a contemporary twist

It has recently become hugely popular to use succulents as wedding ‘flowers’. They look amazing in bouquets and in button-holes mixed with other traditional flowers and foliage – think steely blue eryngiums and frothy gypsophila with pastel coloured Echeveria elegans and Echeveria lilacina.

Using succulents as wedding flowers will help to create a unique and memorable occasion with beautiful pastel coloured plants used in table centrepieces and for party favours that your wedding guests can take home to celebrate future anniversaries with.

Individual rosettes of different sizes and colours can be wired and used as cake and hair decorations and buttonholes or corsages. All sorts of containers can be used – we can find these for you or work with whatever you provide. One customer wanted to use some pretty Victorian cut-glass bowls once belonging to her grandmother, which we filled with plump-leaved echeverias in grey, pink and blue to make exquisite and original table decorations. We can also work with your chosen florist or recommend a florist if required.

For examples of wedding favours that you can purchase straight away as single items or a group of fifteen, go to our Etsy shop (link on the right of this page). These come in mini terracotta pots or mini galvanised buckets.

Talk to us about your ideas and we will be happy to discuss a range of options that we can provide.

The experience was fantastic from the start to the finished product.
