Cute & colourful succulents make an ideal partner for a pretty teacup and saucer that will look great on a sunny windowsill or make a unique gift for a loved one.
The Stunning Succulent Teacups Workshop will have you matching a vintage teacup and saucer with delectable succulents to take home. We’ll explain how to prepare the teacup for planting including showing you how to drill a hole in porcelain to allow for drainage. All the tools and materials will be provided together with a good variety of succulents in all shapes, sizes and colours, plus composts and grits and decorative stones for planting. You’ll be able to choose from a selection of vintage or modern teacups & saucers or even bring your own. We’ll also give you care tips for succulents and provide a care sheet and box to take your teacup home.
Workshops take place in the evening and are based on a group sizeof 12 people (minimum of 8) enabling one-to-one tuition.
The Stunning Succulent Teacups Workshop is being held at the handsome Godinton House, a graceful 15th century house set in parkland on the outskirts of Ashford. The workshop takes place in ‘Delphinium Week’, so come early to enjoy the gardens and admire the stately blue spires of these beautiful plants.
